Obituary for Floyd F. Morris

Floyd, 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday. The son of Ethel & Floyd Freeman Morris, Sr., he was born March 21, 1934 in Fittstown, OK. After graduating from McLish HS in 1952, Floyd honorably served in the US Army. After 32 years of dedicated service, Floyd retired from OG&E where he worked as an engineer, buyer and most recently as the garage manager. In his spare time, Floyd enjoyed many hobbies such as golfing and gardening. He was an avid OU fan and supporter. He was a longtime member of Southwest Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, devoted father and loving grandfather who will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by his infant sister; parents; and wife of 56 years, Mary Ruth Morris on February 17, 2011. He leaves behind his son, Ronnie K. Morris and wife, Lisa of OKC; grandson, Ronnie K. Morris, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Avery and Ellie Morris; grandson, Matthew K. Morris and his wife, Susan, and their children, Mitchell and Elizabeth Morris; and many other loving family and friends. No viewing or visitation. Services to celebrate his life will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, Jan 16, 2019 at the South Lakes Chapel with burial following Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes.
