His business grew into car stereos, and then expanded into opening retail stores and distributing divisions for Capital, Columbia, Ampex, and other major record and tape companies.

In 1968 he graduated from the United States Army Reserve Component Non-commissioned Officer
Academy, and in 1971 was honorably discharged.

In 1968 he received a patent on what became the nations most highly successful theft preventive
display case. In 1972 he formed a full record company, his recording company recorded many
successful artists of the time including The Blackwood Brothers, Dale Robertson, James Brolin, Henry
Youngman, etc.

In 1973 Tom formed Cartridge Industries Corporation, which became the nations largest plastic
manufacturer of 8 track stereo cartridge components, and distributor of magnetic 8 track tape products.

In 1974, he developed and received a U.S. patent design for the first K.D. knock down pipe furniture,
which also won the #1 outstanding furniture design for the year at the furniture industries national show.

In 1978 Tom ventured into the energy conservation industry. He designed and received patents on the
industries simplest, highest performing, insulation blowing machine. By 1982 his company had
expanded to be the largest distributor of energy insulation products.

He revolutionized the 900 pay per call industry, with his company 900 Call Association. The company

green/energy efficient homes. He also formed Healthy Way Pest Control, and developed and received a
patent on an inject-able termite piping system, which keeps the pesticide under the home, and away
from your family.

Up until the moment of his death he was avidly working on OnNowTV, “The Planets First Internet
Television Network” that he developed and received several patents on. Tom was a true through and
through entrepreneur. You could always hear him saying “I am building character and developing new
skills”

Tom is predeceased by his parents, and his beloved Father and Mother in Law Pete and Argie Caporal.
He is survived by his cherished wife of forty years, Demee Hoshall, his adored daughters Tina Hess,
and Lexi Amos, and their husbands Paul Hess, and Matt Amos, and his precious grandchildren, Holt
Amos, Cameron Hess, Elena Amos, and Coe Amos.

He received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for a meeting from which he will not be returning.
This last assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not
seen in a long time.” Looking down, and watching over us all, with “thumbs up”.

In lieu of flowers a donation to CASA of Oklahoma County or The American Cancer Society is greatly
appreciated.
