Jackie Sue Littou passed away February 28, 2019 in Dallas, TX. She was born October 8, 1947 to John and Dorothy McAlister in Marland, OK. Jackie helped on the family farm growing up and graduated from Marland High school in 1965. A week after graduation she married the love of her life Leonard Harry Littou and from their union they had two children. Jackie and Leonard owned a coin laundromat together. While her children were growing up she was a homemaker. She also worked as a delivery driver for Broadway Florist in Moore, OK. She took pride in her efficiency to deliver flowers. She loved spending time with her family and when her grandchildren were born she was a loving grandmother who adored them. She also enjoyed serving others, from donating blood, to volunteering with Meals on Wheels. She was a proud member of the Presbyterian Church, loved spending time talking to people and would always help anyone in need. She was an avid OU football and women’s basketball fan, loved to fish and watch the birds and butterflies. Her favorite hobby was working on crossword puzzles.

Our dear friend Jackie had a heart as big as her smile and she shared it with everyone! We had so much fun in high school, raising our children, and we could always count on Jackie and Leonard for fun and lots of laughs. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Death is truly a devastating trial to cope with. May you find comfort from the future promise recorded in Isaiah 25:8 which says “he [God] will swallow up death forever.” We can be certain God will fulfill the words from his word the Bible.

Many wonderful memories will be cherished forever of my Aunt Jackie! To me, she was such a cool aunt, being that she was only 13 years older than me. One of my wonderful memories was as a child when my family would come to visit with her and Uncle Leonard when they lived in Oklahoma City and owned the laundromat. The first thing she and Uncle Leonard would do was get my brother Randy and me a cold Coke in a glass bottle from their pop machine! I was amazed they didn’t have to put any coins in to get one out lol! That was the best thing ever! As an adult, I could always count on Aunt Jackie to be there if I needed help, whether to watch my baby Jenny when I was so sick or to just be a listening ear on the phone. Sometimes we would talk for hours. And at the end of the conversation, we would always say we need to do this more often. I love you Aunt Jackie and will always miss your smiling face and laughter.
