Betty Jean Medina passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from her long battle with Alzheimer’s and heart disease. She was 94. She was born on June 26, 1924 in Bristow, Oklahoma to her parents, Dewitt T. and Pearl (Fugate) Gregory. Betty was raised in Bristow Oklahoma, Oklahoma City and Amarillo Texas. She married Richard Medina after his service in World War II and immediately started raising a family. Their sons, Ricky, Paul and Patrick became the center of their lives. Betty was a stay at home mom and an almost picture-perfect mother to her boys. “I’ve always known I was very lucky to have such a warm, loving mom, someone that gave unconditional love and support. She taught me how to be a good person.” Paul Medina remembers. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Betty was greatly loved and will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Nieces and great nieces: Debra Scott, Sheila Hankins and Stephanie Scott;
Many other loving family and friends.
