Obituary for Betty Lou Osburn (Stotts)

Viewing will be 4PM-8PM Tuesday, June 25th & 4PM-8PM Wednesday, June 26th at the funeral home. A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the South Colonial Chapel with interment following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Betty Lou (Stotts) Osburn, 84, entered our Saviour's arms on June 22, 2019. She was born to William H. (Doc) and Garnada Stotts of Oklahoma City on Nov. 28th, 1934.

She graduated from Capitol Hill High School and attended the University of Oklahoma as a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. Her accomplishments include dental hygienist, medical receptionist, elementary librarian and teacher's aide. Her love of our Lord was first and foremost in her life. She shared her love of Jesus with everyone she encountered. Her ministries include serving as Sunday School Teacher, Falls Creek sponsor/cook, Sign Language Teacher and on the Bereavement Committee. She enjoyed music, arts and crafts, fishing, water skiing and boating, traveling and cooking. Most of all she loved Jesus, her family, neighbors and all the children she encountered. She never failed to share the love of God with anyone she met.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland C. Osburn, and close friend, Louis Koman. She is survived by her brother, Gordon R. Stotts (Scharlene); her children, Diana Tubbs (Curtis), L. Charles Osburn Jr. (Melody) and Jeffrey S. Osburn; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and multiple nieces & nephews.
