Ruth Margaret Bennett entered Heaven’s gates on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at the age of 91. The daughter of Della (Overton) and Jack Camren, Ruth was born on July 27, 1927 in Stroud, Oklahoma. She grew up a true country girl. Her parents were easy going and her dad worked at the OKC Packing House. At a young age, Ruth learned to garden, grow flowers, quilt and sew. Moss roses were Ruth’s favorite flowers and she was a very avid quilter and skilled sewer who enjoyed making items for her family and friends. She married her one true love, James Bennett and together shared many years of marriage and raising their three daughters, until his passing on August 13, 1984. Ruth could always be found with a big smile on her face, especially when it came to her family. They were always first in life. Ruth enjoyed life to its fullest. She enjoyed gambling and traveling whenever she could, especially to Branson, Missouri and California to visit her daughter. She also loved attending her Pentecostal Holiness Church. Ruth will be deeply missed.
