Floyd Raymond Brogdon went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the age of 94. The son of Jane Georgia Francis Arminda Evelyn (Weeks) and Hamlin Hawkins Brogdon, Floyd was born on August 7, 1924 in Idabel, Oklahoma. Floyd served in the United States Army during World War II, where he was a tank driver and fought at the Battle of the Bulge. On August 12, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Floyd married his sweetheart, Neta Marie Wayland and together they shared fore than 75 years of marriage, raising their three children and serving the Lord. He provided for his family by working as a truck driver for Floyd O Shaw Lumber Company for many years. He enjoyed worshipping and fellowshipping for many years at South Walker Church of Christ where he was a longtime member and made many wonderful friends and memories. In his spare time, Floyd loved to work on cars.

• Wife of 75 years, Neta Marie Brodgon
• Daughter, Ann Burleson
• Son, Donnie Brogdon and his wife, Sharon
• Daughter, Jan Trent and her husband, James
• Several grandchildren, great, and great-great grandchildren
• Many other relatives, friends and church family
