Cora Lee Wright was born on Sunday, February 12, 1928 in Cole, Oklahoma to David Edward and Hilda (Brannon) Cole. She died Thursday, August 8, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 27 days old. Cora grew up during the depression and was very thrifty. Not only could she make a penny stretch a long way, she could also make a meal out of anything. Her daughter Anita, a teacher, invited Cora to come to her school and share her childhood depression era experiences with her students. Cora loved to sing and enjoyed singing at nursing homes with her brothers. Cora was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children and her grandchildren were the most important things to her in her life.
Cora was preceded in death by her:
• Parents David Edward and Hilda (Brannon) Cole, and stepmothers Stella Cole and Edna Cole
• Husband Clarence Homer Wright
• Two Brothers
• And one Sister
She leaves behind her loving family:
• Children: Jimmie Harrison and her husband Chic, Anita Kositzky, Jerry Wright and his wife, Kathy, and Charlotte Beesley
• Brother Grady Cole
• Sister Melba Winkenweder
• Six grandchildren
• And fifteen great grandchildren
