.Edwin Keith Marlar, 74, passed from this life Monday, February 10, 2020. He was born June 14, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of James Albert and Ruthagene (Kelley) Marlar. Edwin attended Prairie Queen Elementary School, US Grant High School, South Community College, and Central State College. He earned an Associate degree and a Bachelor degree. Edwin served in the US Army and trained as a Surgical Tech in San Antonio, Texas and was stationed at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC. He loved history and was an avid sports enthusiast who especially loved baseball and hockey. He was a trivia buff and loved guns and molding bullets. If Edwin wasn’t attending sporting events he was watching them on television. He was a very giving and caring person. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents, and several aunts and uncles. He leaves cherished memories with his sister, Donna Freeman; 1 niece; 2 nephews; 3 great nieces; 2 great nephews; 1 great great niece; 2 great great nephews; 3 step nephews; and close friend, Larry Hill.
