Obituary for Lloyd William Norman

Viewing will be 8-10 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral service to celebrate and honor his life will be held 10 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 in the South Colonial Chapel (6934 S. Western Ave., OKC), with burial following at 1 PM at the Purdy Cemetery in Lindsay, OK.

Lloyd, 86, went to be with his Heavenly father on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. The son of William Lee & Helen Delicia (Lynch) Norman, he was born February 25, 1934 in Stroud, Oklahoma, and grew up in the Oklahoma City area. Lloyd married Freida, and after her passing he met and married Joyce. In addition to being a loving husband and devoted father, Lloyd also worked as a laborer for Metropolitan Paving for many years. Lloyd was very passionate about his faith and was always saying a prayer for someone. Lloyd loved fishing and was an avid walker. He would walk all over Oklahoma City, Chandler and Stroud. Lloyd will be fondly remembered as a kind & generous man. He loved and cared deeply for his family and he will be held close to our hearts each day.

Sister in law, Fran Norman.

Granddaughter, Samantha Joanna Norman and her (fiancé, Issaiah Clark);
Grandsons, Billy Dean Norman, Jr. & his wife, Brianna Paige, Thomas Joe Norman & Steven Floyd Norman;
Great Grandson, Aceton Cade Norman;
