Alan Lee Shaw, 82, was born July 26, 1937 in Marlow, OK to James Henry & Ruby Vella(Clay) Shaw. Alan had attended school Central High, OK & Del City High Schools. He married Rita G. (Scott) Shaw on November 15, 1975
Alan worked in Auto Parts Sales for many years he was GMC Truck Parts Manager & had also worked for Hoidale. He was a longtime member of Oakcrest Church of Christ.
He had numerous hobbies, among them motor cycles, street rods, he especially loved the outdoors, golfing, fishing & hunting.
Alan was known as the "Big Al the Kiddies Pal" and certainly could be described as a "people person" and would go out of his way to help others, he will be remembered by all those whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents & four siblings.
He is survived by his wife Rita Gayle Shaw of the home & his sons Chris Shaw & wife Becky, Ron Shaw & wife Fayeann & daughter Teresa Sims; grandchildren Jim & Danna Shaw, Kayedee & Rickie Long & Arica & Charles Dick; great grandchildren Micah & Jadah Shaw & Emmitt Dick & nephew Steve & Marion Burcham
