Obituary for Jamie Garlow

Jamie was born in Anthony, Kansas on Halloween day in 1976 to Stephen and Nancy (Niemann) Garlow. She was raised in East Texas with her sister Stacey and brothers Rocky and Casey. Growing up, Jamie enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, and singing in the choir. Jamie attended Sabine High School in Liberty City, Texas. In 1994 Jamie’s family relocated to Oklahoma City and she spent her senior year at Westmoore High School where she graduated in 1995. After high school Jamie worked as an Accounting clerk for many corporations in both Oklahoma and Texas. In March of 2001 Jamie was blessed with the birth of her son Anthony Michael Garlow. He was the light of her life and the two were inseparable and shared a very special bond. Being his mother was her proudest achievement. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, crossword puzzles, watching Big Brother, and cheering for her San Francisco 49er’s. Jamie loved playing Wahoo, cards, and board games with family. There was never a dull moment with her competitive personality. The impact that Jamie left was immeasurable and she will forever be in our hearts. Jamie will be deeply missed by her family and friends but she will always be loved and remembered.
