Kathleen “Kathy” Duke Moreau
Kathy Duke Moreau passed away on August 5th, 2020 surrounded by family at her home in Oklahoma City. She was born on November 11, 1954, to Rodger “Bud” and Annette Odle Duke in Wiesbaden, Germany. Growing up she travelled the world with her parents and brothers as an Air Force brat and lived in various places across Europe and the United States.
Kathy graduated from London Central High School in 1972, then pursued her college education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. While visiting her parents stationed at Altus Air Force Base, she met Mark Moreau, whom she married on August 13th, 1977. Together they raised three beautiful daughters and enjoyed traveling with them as often as possible to visit friends and family around the United States.
Kathy worked as a bookkeeper for many years before retiring from Mosley Insurance Agency to help with her husband’s business and focus on being a wonderful Gaga to her six grandkids.
Kathy enjoyed crafting and shopping, but get-togethers with friends and family for any occasion is where she was happiest. She will be remembered as a loving wife, and a compassionate and devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodger and Annette Duke, and brother Robert “Bob” Duke.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mark; her three daughters: Alexis Carroll and husband Josh, Kelsey Barnes and husband Drew, and Paige Moreau; her brother Bill Duke and wife Lori, her sister-in-law Michelle; six grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws, as well as numerous extended family and dear friends.
