Mark Wilson Suggs left this earth on February 9, 2021 after beating Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with a successful bone marrow transplant in 2020. Mark was born on May 15, 1975 to Carolyn Gaye Ratliff in Gainesville Florida. After finishing high school, Mark enlisted and served in the USNR, he then enlisted and served in the US Army. Mark was a SGT in the 82nd airborne and a combat medic. He deployed and served a tour in Afghanistan and a tour in Iraq. In his opinion, his proudest life achievement was becoming a father to Saylor Suggs in September of 2018. Mark is survived by his wife, Jenny Burks and daughter, Saylor Annette Suggs; Mom, Gaye Ratliff; Dad, Larry Ratliff; Granny, Bonnie and two daughters, Chloe Clark and Audrey Clark. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chad Suggs and Grandpa, Creed Pruitt.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the family is planning memorial services later this year.
